With releases and remixes (12" and cd compilations) on major labels like "Ministry of Sound" ,"Lost Language", "Armada", "Renaissance", "Audio Therapy", "Intrinsic", "Deep" and support on his tracks by the biggest names like James Zabiela, Pete Tong, James Holden, John Digweed, Sasha, Markus Schulz, Armin Van Buuren, Paul Van Dyk, Matthew Dekay, Tiesto, Antony Pappa and even more, Nikola Gala at the age of 25 has established a well respected name in the global electronic-music industry already.
Born, raised and still lives in Thessaloniki/Greece and being one of the most talented producers from Greece at the moment, he is quite busy working on new ideas in most of his time at his personal studio. Nikola Gala as a producer name would be very difficult to be categorized and that's because Nikola is pushing himself into different "paths" of music while at the same time he is trying to "steal" ideas from the so many different genres of music he is listening to in his free time. What would be sure to expect from his production is quality dance music at it's best. Strorming fat beats combined with strong basslines, ethereal atmospheres and groovy vocals, these are some of the basic elements in his productions.
Nikola Gala as a Dj is not just mixing track by track as someone might expect. When you see Nikola Gala behind the decks, you see a true show-man .A warm personality with a big smile on his face, communicating with the crowd at every chance and keeping the dance floor groovy and happy, this is Nikola. Regarding the style of the music he is mixing, it would be difficult again to categorize him, when he was asked "How would you describe the music you are playing?", he answered "When I dj, I like to see the dance floor going crazy, so I need to be as much creative as I can and I am doing this by mixing tracks from a wide range of music, call this techno, house, electro, trance, breaks whatever...for me, at the end it's all ‘club’ music". Nikola left his music mark on many spots around the globe like Stockholm, Cologne, Jakarta, Tokyo, Tel Aviv, Kiev just to name a few. The most stylish and progressive dance radio-show in Ukraine celebrates its second anniversary of broadcasting! Dance project CTUDIO 21 is the first Ukranian radio-show completely devoted to progressive electronic music. Show is running every Friday from 9pm till midnight on STAR FM Network (Kyiv - 99.4, Odessa - 91.4, Mykolayiv - 100.1, Lviv - 103.9). The show lasts three hours and consists of parts which are presents mixes of DJs: first hour – Plato (UA, Studio21 resident), second – exclusive mix of international DJ/producer and the last hour – mix of Eddy Good (NL, Studio21 resident).
